The Strongest Girl in the World, is a solo performance about one woman's journey to learn more about her late father and her former self. Truly yearns to understand the carefree child that she once was; her father’s daughter. As Truly tells it, she "knows [her] father through other people." In the play, she embodies those other people, voicing family members, friends, storybook characters, and more in an effort to understand who her father was. Telling a story of growth, grief, and resilience, the play is a comedic and heartwarming look at what it means to lose the ones we love. The play has a non-traditional structure, using a series of vignettes to paint a three-dimensional picture of loss through a child's eyes. It incorporates music (sung a cappella), a rich soundscape, and a direct address to the audience to create a uniquely engaging, personal experience.

What Reviewers Are Saying about The Strongest Girl in the World

“The acting and performance from Truly Siskind-Weiss herself is heartfelt and touching to watch. It’s so brave to put a story so close to your heart on stage for others to see and she does it with such passion, humour, and love. This one-woman solo play is a raw and incredibly moving celebration of both life and death and how grief affects us all in different ways."

— Entertainment Now (*****)

"A lovely tribute to her father, The Strongest Girl In The World is bound to pull on your heartstrings and make you feel nostalgic."

— The Indiependent (****)

"An insightful and original perspective on a child''s experience with grief."

— Stagey Chaos (****)

“I loved the use of props and puppetry to tell the story and voice different characters in Truly’s life. The script is both moving and subtly funny, with audiences really getting a sense for who Siskind-Weiss both is and was. I’m sure many people of a certain age (this reviewer included) will see a bit of themselves in a young Truly, who loves Hannah Montana and read Twilight 55 times in one year."
